After going into Krazy Eddie’s Donuts, this might as well be written on my tombstone: I’VE DIED AND GONE TO HEAVEN!
One day I was looking for donuts on Yelp (when I used that crappy service) and I noticed the great reviews this place was getting. I pass by it quite often on my way to work, so I decided one day I would try it.
The place is like Nordie’s inside. It’s so bright and clean. The donuts are displayed like designer purses. So mouthwatering and you can’t decide what to pick! (Am I right ladies?)
I don’t like to start my mornings off with cavity-inducing, thigh-enhancing, carbolicious treats, so I opted for something a little more balanced out of the food pyramid — #4 (egg, cheese and sausage — on a croissant). I also got the Hawaiian Hazelnut coffee.
Party. In. My. Mouth. I took one sip of the coffee, and felt like I was back on the Island. It’s that good.
Even the stuff I have yet to try looked delish! On my to try list (from what I noticed):
– Avocado bagel
– Strawberry cream bagel
– Thai Iced Tea
– Thai Iced Coffee
– One of every sweet in their case
– Smoothies
And to top it off, the guy behind the counter (Krazy Eddie I presume), was very sane and super friendly. He alone deserves 5-star rating. However, is he “krazy” because the food is insanely fantasmic? I think so!
Also, the cost floored me. The same meal at that *other* bakery chain that I adore so much costs a good amount more, and frankly, doesn’t even taste as grrrreat as Krazy Eddie’s!
My only problem: They’re open ’til 4 PM, which means I can stop by on my way home from work — every day. P90X anyone?
