I had never been to the Midwest. Many of my favorite TV shows and so many of my favorite John Hughes movies were shot in and around Chicago. It was a great time and a nice break from sunny So Cal.

- Museum of Science and Industry – One of their featured exhibits was Peanuts by Charles Schulz.
- View from the 103rd floor of the Willis (Sears) Tower.
- “Sam Baker” *lived* here and “Long Duk Dong” fell out of that tree. Oh sexy girlfriend!
